The Hidden identity Project
Identity is a recurring theme in my work.
Who are we amongst the wilderness?
I am influenced by shadows and different textures throughout the spaces of the individuals. I am fascinated by silhouettes and overlaying of different images within photography through the transformation the go through within my work.
My influences came from the hidden identity project by G.W Photography who explores the overlaying of hidden which determines how we view somebody’s identity which furthers this conceptual theory of whether the identity is hiding the visual narrative of the individual’s personal life.
We are unique and complex individuals with our own experiences, fears and losses and use our life experiences to view the world. Being true to ourselves is one of the most challenging things we can do. I love to experiment with digital photography and exploring ways of combining images together to create this new visual narrative of the individual.
